Scam Alert regarding water quality tests. Water drop into water with ripple effect.

Oldsmar residents may be seeing sponsored posts on social media outlets promoting "Test My Water"; which urges people to visit their website that provides examples from an outdated City Annual Water Quality Report.

Oldsmar's tests show our water is safe for drinking. Oldsmar drinking water undergoes an annual testing regiment to assure our residents and businesses about the quality of our water for consumption. Oldsmar's Public Water System routinely monitors your drinking water for contaminants in accordance to Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations. We also perform other compliance monitoring tests on our water as required by the FDEP and EPA.

Testing results are published annually as a Consumer Confidence Report. Our current 2017 Report can be viewed online at Copies of the Report are also available at Oldsmar City Hall, located at 100 State Street West.

If you have any questions about your drinking water, feel free to contact our Water Division by calling 813-749-1233
