Dan Saracki, Mayor

Dan has served on Oldsmar City Council since 2015 and was elected Mayor in 2022. He is a member of the Florida League of Mayors and serves on the Board of Directors At Large. Dan is a member of the Suncoast League of Cities and served as their President from 2020-2022 and has been a member of various committees including Legislative, Regional Advocacy Team, and the Suncoast League Delegation Nominating Committee. As a member of the Florida League of Cities (FLC), Dan has served as a member of various committees including the Legislative & Advocacy Committee, DC FAST Fly-In, the Resolutions Committee, the Utilities Natural Resources & Public Works Committee and he served as the Municipal Administration Committee Chair in 2019. Dan received the Gold Certificate of Excellence from the Certified Program for Elected Municipal Officials by the FLC University. He is a graduate of the Institute for Elected Municipal Officials (IEMO), classes I through IV. and has been awarded the FLC Home Rule Hero award consecutively since 2018. Dan serves on the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority as Vice-Chair and he is on the Executive Committee, the Legislative Committee for State and Federal, and the Finance Committee. He is a member of the Pinellas County Mayor’s Council and was recently elected Secretary in April, 2023. Dan serves on the EMS Advisory Council and has been a Board Member since 2022. He has held various leadership roles, such as serving on the East Lake Oaks Community Development District Board and chairing the Leisure Services Advisory Board. Dan is also involved in organizations like the Oldsmar Cares Board of Directors and the Oldsmar Historical Society, where he serves as Treasurer. Additionally, Saracki has served on boards like the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council. Dan has been married to Paula for 32 years and has three daughters – Danielle, Deanna, and Dana; and five grandchildren – Hannah, Alexzander, Colton, Daisy, and Vardan. He enjoys bike riding on Oldsmar’s many trails and playing ball hockey at Oldsmar’s Lightning Made rink.
Andrew Knapp, Vice Mayor, Seat 3

Andrew Knapp is a third-generation resident of Oldsmar and currently serves as Vice Mayor. He is in his first full term for City Council Seat 3, having previously served a 1-year term as an introduction to government service. Additionally, he represents Oldsmar on the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council. Andrew is actively involved in his community as the President of his neighborhood's HOA and has served on various city boards, including the Code Enforcement Board and Firefighter's Pension Board. He is a graduate of the Janice Miller Oldsmar Citizen's Academy and a charter member of the Oldsmar VFW Auxiliary 12186. Professionally, Andrew works as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at MicroLumen, an Oldsmar-based company specializing in cardiovascular medical tubing. He and his wife, Nicole, recently welcomed their first child, daughter Leona, in February 2020. Outside of his civic and professional engagements, Andrew enjoys traveling, trying local cuisine, and participating in activities like running, cycling, and learning new hobbies such as computer programming and homebrewing.
Steve Graber, Seat 1

Steve Graber is serving his first term on Seat 1 of the Oldsmar City Council. Steve is focused on the continued growth of Oldsmar through the development of downtown, increased recreational options, and the development of a community center for the arts. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Municipal Investment Trust. Previously, he served as Oldsmar's representative to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council. Steve is a member of the Oldsmar Historical Society and Friends of the Oldsmar Library. Prior to being elected to council, Steve graduated from the 2019 Janice Miller Citizen’s Academy and served on multiple advisory boards including the Board of Adjustment, the Ordinance Review Committee, and the Forward Pinellas Citizens Advisory Committee. Steve is in-house counsel for a title insurance company and received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. Steve and his wife, Kelly, are raising their young family in Oldsmar. In their spare time, they enjoy attending events at local parks and walking the Oldsmar Trail, dining at local restaurants, and visiting with family and friends.
Jarrod Buchman, Seat 2

Elected to office in March 2022, Council Member Jarrod Buchman is serving his first term on Oldsmar City Council Seat at Seat 2 and served as the Vice-Mayor from 2022-2023. He also serves on the Forward Pinellas Board as the representative for Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, and Tarpon Springs. Before being elected, Jarrod served on the Ordinance Review Committee and Planning Board and is also a graduate of Oldsmar’s Janice Miller Citizens Academy in 2018. He grew up in the Tampa Bay area, with Oldsmar always integral to his life, where his father used to take him for fishing expeditions and visits to the Flea Market. He attended Florida Tech, where he studied Aviation Management and Flight Technology. In 2002, Buchman was a founding member of a Jacksonville-based health center and today serves as Senior VP of Business Development for a medical services company. Jarrod and his wife, Meghan, have three children. The family enjoys various activities, from attending local musical plays or even performing in them to spending a day at the beach.
Katie Gannon, Seat 4

Katie Gannon is serving her second term on Oldsmar City Council at Seat 4. She has also twice served as the city’s Vice Mayor. As an Oldsmar resident for over 30 years, Katie is passionate about working with residents and key stakeholders to bring new businesses and development to our city, while preserving our historic roots. She is an advocate for fiscal responsibility, transparency, and resiliency. Katie is committed to representing the interests of all of Oldsmar’s residents, including families, veterans, young adults, professionals, and retirees. Katie led the effort to reestablish the city’s Ordinance Review Committee and Charter review process and encouraged the City’s re-branding effort. Katie currently serves as Oldsmar’s representative on the Forward Pinellas School Transportation Safety Committee. She previously served as a board member and officer for Leadership Pinellas. She is currently a member of the Oldsmar Historical Society, Friends of the Oldsmar Library, the Woman’s Club of Oldsmar, and Oldsmar Friends of the Arts. She is also a member of Oldsmar’s VFW Auxiliary 12186. Prior to being elected, Katie served on the city’s Leisure Services Advisory Board and is a 2018 graduate of Oldsmar’s Janice Miller Citizen’s Academy. Katie is a member of the Florida Bar and an attorney licensed to practice before all Florida state and federal courts. She is an alumnus of the University of Florida. She enjoys spending time with her family at local events and in the many parks, Oldsmar has to offer. Both of her children attend Oldsmar Elementary School where Katie is a member of the PTA and annually participates in the Adopt-a-Class Program.
