Wednesday, August 7, 11:00 a.m. Veterans Memorial Park, 250Shore Drive E.
The public is invited to join Oldsmar City Officials and Members of our Staff for our Monument Dedication and Purple Heart Ceremony.
The Keynote Speaker is Richard Hunt, the current President of the Purple Heart Veterans of Florida, Inc. This annual observance is our opportunity to say 'thank you' to those who served our country and recognize the sacrifice and commitment of our combat-wounded veterans.
“Unveil the Trail” is a unique interaction art project that requires water and a sense of adventure. Beginning Wednesday, May 8, residents can pick up a free spray bottle (limit one per family) at City Hall, Public Library, State Street Center and Cypress Forest Recreation Center (while supplies last). Or, you can bring your bottle along. To participate, find the designated yard sign and a distinctive orange footprint. Then spray or splash water over the designated area to reveal a set of native Floridian animal footprints at specific locations around Oldsmar. A promotional flyer to help match the prints will be on-site. To find select areas, visit OldsmarPopUpArt.com
