Flood Map Open House

Tuesday, June 25 from 11am-2pm

Oldsmar Council Chamber, 101 State Street West, 2nd Floor

Flood Maps are Changing!  Your Flood Insurance Rates and Requirements may be affected.  Do you know if your property is going to be in a high-risk zone or a different zone with the proposed changes to Pinellas County's Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM)?

This public meeting will provide valuable information to property owners that may be affected by the changes. Home and business owners, renters, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, and insurance agents are encouraged to attend. There will be no formal presentation.

Representatives from Pinellas County, several cities and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) will also be in attendance. A customer service representative will be available to answer basic questions in Spanish.

Unveil the Trail

Oldsmar's First Interactive Pop-Up Art Project

“Unveil the Trail” is a unique interaction art project that requires water and a sense of adventure. Beginning Wednesday, May 8, residents can pick up a free spray bottle (limit one per family) at City Hall, Public Library, State Street Center and Cypress Forest Recreation Center (while supplies last). Or, you can bring your bottle along. To participate, find the designated yard sign and a distinctive orange footprint. Then spray or splash water over the designated area to reveal a set of native Floridian animal footprints at specific locations around Oldsmar. A promotional flyer to help match the prints will be on-site. To find select areas, visit
