  2. Memorial Day Ceremony

    May 27, 2019, 10:00 AM @ Veterans Memorial Park

    Join Oldsmar City Officials as they honor and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedom during their Annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Presentation of Colors by American Legion Post 238 of Safety Harbor will precede the National Anthem performed by Ms. Katie Ducharme. The 2019 Ceremony features Keynote Speaker Paula Rodriguez, Gold Star Sister of Marine LCPL William D. Frantz, KIA 10/17/68. Recognition of both the Symbols of Service and Sacrifice and Gold Star Families proceeds the tradition of the Placing of the Wreath at the memorial monument. Full Military Honors and Retiring of Colors will close out the ceremony, featuring ‘Amazing Grace’ performed on the bagpipes by Kendall Kline. Bald Eagle visitation is courtesy of the Friends of Largo Nature Parks. Light refreshments will follow the service.
